Claudine Longet - Claudine (1967)

From Beatman:
Claudine Longet - Claudine (1967)
Continuing the theme 'Private Collection - Overview Albums'...
Claudine Longet was born in Paris. In 1961 she moved to the USA, where she began to perform in clubs in Las Vegas. It was then that she met Andy Williams, whom in the end of 1961 she married. Williams introduced her to owner of the record label A&M - the musical career of Longet began, followed by the release of albums in which she sang various hits of the time (songs by The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Carpenters, etc.) in the light, popular variety arrangements typical for A&M Records. 'Claudine' is her debut solo album... A distinctive feature of singing Claudine Longet was her French accent, as well as a timbre reminiscent of half-whisper. She left the stage and began to lead a private life after the tragic death of her boyfriend in 1977...
All selected tracks are restored and remastered for a good modern sound...

Everyone who knows the blog "Old Melodies" or earlier "Wings of Dream" for many years, knows that there are large archives of music here since 2007 ... 98% of the links up to 2015 are dead. I will gradually be engaged in their recovery. This takes a very long time, so the answers to requests will be minimal and in no way will be accepted from anonymous users. I spend a very long time on my uploads. Please, find a couple of seconds to sign your comment or message. I hope for understanding...
