Band started in Berlin around 1964 under the band name (Die) TORNADOS recording 2 songs one released
as backside to EDGAR & DIE ATEMLOSEN (EDGAR& The BREATHLESS) title "Da Doo Ron Ron" in German,
the other song a great German Garage version of 'Money' = Gib mir deine Liebe under the bandname The BATS.
In 1965 confronted to a english band with the same name (had a hit with "Telstar")the changed to The ROLLICKS.
After winning the Star Club competition they recorded one song for Star Club Records and some others for ELITE
all released on different varius artists samplern, before getting signed to CBS.
CBS released 4 singles in 65 and 1966, to earn some more money they recorded under the name The SHOUTERS
and as THUNDERBEATS some great rough beat and R&B covers for the EUROCORD label.
In 1966 and 1967 some group members changed before the band split forever.
PETER HAUKE who did some managing for the band too, went into producing and started the famous BACILLUS label,
which had bands like NINE DAYS WONDER; DZYAN; JERONIMO; NEKTAR; PELL MELL and so on .
