ReplyDeleteGreat find! I'm not sure this should be classified as a various artists album as other albums are. Petticoat Junction was a 60's US Sitcom and the songs included other than the theme tune are recorded by the three actresses who played sibling daughters in the show. 'The Girls Of Petticoat Junction'. Singles were issued under that name by them at least one of which was performed on the show.
ReplyDeleteThis is a collection of the solo and joint recordings of the three 'Girls Of Petticoat Junction' alongside the shows theme tune. It's largely all the same three connected singers so hardly a various artists compilation
