ReplyDeleteFascinating to think that the vinyl LPs that inspired this boxset were compiled and produced by a British seaside town second hand record shop and that those original albums predated Rhino's seminal Nuggets Series by a year or more. They were amongst the first psychedelic compilation albums in the post punk era ever released and as such historic in their own right.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, and they also re-issued The Haunted's LP, albeit with a grey cover (as opposed to colour).
