Very little is known about this band North Carolina band.

Psychedelic band from Fayetteville, North Carolina. Formed in 1969, their members included George Graham (drums), Steve Darling (guitar), Frank Hardwick (bass), Mike Dees (vocals), Bill Joyner (keyboards) and later Steve Struthers (lead guitar).

The 1960's was a magical time for music, the members of the Bow Street Runners were in high school following that Rock and Roll dream. The music was great, the Beatles, the Doors, Jimi Hendrix... They would practice in George's garage and play at local venues.

After high school, the band members went their separate ways. Eventually in 1970, several of the members reunited and went on to record an album on the B.T. Puppy label. It was simply titled, "Bow Street Runners." They were joined by Steve Struthers (lead guitar).

Most notably the incredible ‘Another Face’, with its haunting keyboard intro before picking up tempo with lots of fuzz guitar. Other notable tracks are ‘Electric Star’ and ‘Watch.

They played night clubs from Florida to Washington, D.C. (called the Chitlin' Curcuit) and played concert openers for Strawberry Alarm Clock, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Blood Rock, Chubby Checker, Percy Sledge and others. As happens with many bands, the Bow Street Runners disbanded and went their separate ways.
