Suzie - The Sonet Singles 1963 - 1969

Dutch singer, born 21-08-1946 in Tilburg. Moved to Sweden around 1960. Helped with the warming up for The Beatles when they visited Sweden in 1963. In 1965 she married Mike Watson (bass player in The Lee Kings). Released records in 8 different languages. Her last performance on Swedish television was in the TV show "Diggiloo" hosted by Lasse Holm in 2004.
Her first famous song was "Johnny komm" (Johnny Loves Me) in 1963-64, another famous song was her own version of "Walking Back to Happiness".
For many years she owned a very exclusive snack bar in Täby, just north of Stockholm, Sweden. She passed away in March 2008.

    Her song Whenever My Love Passes By was with a completely different text in Dutch. De Wereld Is Leeg Zonder Jou (The world is empty without you) She sang it so naturally that it was and still is one of the greatest Dutch songs ever
