Following our 17 From Morden album which expounded the evolution of British beat music during the mid 1960s through the consoles of R.G. Jones in South London, we make a second visit to the studio to uncover more kaleidoscopic sounds from the decade's twilight years. The Morden Park Sound Studios during the late '60s were as assiduous as ever in capturing scores of budding hopefuls on tape and disc, as well as playing host to contemporary hitmakers such as the Herd, the Love Affair and the Rolling Stones. However in May 1969 notice had been served on Ronald Jones to shut up shop in Morden to make way for the new Merton Technical College, and a move to new premises in Beulah Road in Wimbledon saw the concern continuing to prosper. Ronald Godfrey Jones sadly passed on in 1987 and the recording side of the business ceased operating in 2001, but the company continues to this day in other areas of sound technology. From Morden To Wimbledon illustrates the further developments in British Rock during the late '60s, from heavy duty beat to progressive pop, taking in some scintillating psychedelia along the way. ~ Nigel Lees,

I found the CD version on Amazon and bought the only copy. Should be with me within a week. I'll post it when it arrives if no one else posts it before.
If anyone else is interested there are copies of both the CD and vinyl version on ebay UK
The record label that it is produced by is well worth a look for those unfamiliar with it as it takes up pretty much where the Wooden Hill label left off digging up long lost UK acetates and recordings.
