The Speakers - Vol.1 - Vol.2

The Fist Two Lp's From This Great Group
Fantastic psych albums by this band from Colombia that mixes Folk, Garage, Blues and Psych with lashings of that 'wasp in a jam jar' fuzz guitar. This is a real twisted album. Hats off to these Colombians who knew how to handle their magic plants by the sound of it.

Rodrigo Garcia - lead guitar/keyboards/vocals
Humberto Monroy - bass/vocals
Oswaldo Hernandez - rhythm guitar
Luis Dueñas - rhythm guitar/keyboards/drums

  3. Who released this CD?
In fact is it really a proper release?

First of all, THIS IS NOT vol.1 & 2.
the first is the self-titled album from 1964, the second is the THIRD album from 1966 (Tuercas, tornillos y alicates)

Unfortunately this third album (probably their best) seems to come from the same source...in fact i left comments in at least 2 other blogs in the past.
At least 3 years ago I found it on Soulseek: like here and everywhere else on the web, the last track "Niebla" (track 12) is missing!

instead we get "Wake me shake me" + 2 other songs, the 3 best tracks from Brazil's Os Beat Boys from 1968!!!

as i said elsewhere, "niebla" means mist, and the track seems to have vanished in the clouds, eluding us ever since...
