In any case, the content of these albums is no different.

The first, according to information from discogs, was the 1958 edition, released on the Decca label (Decca – DL-8714)  with the front cover "Summer Love", without mentioning the name Henry Mancini on it.

It was only in 1995 that the Japanese label MCA Records (MVCM-22055) released a CD with an exact copy of the original front cover, where Mancini's name is highlighted as early works.

The First 10 tracks are from SUMMER LOVE Decca 1958 LP and the rest is from ROCK PRETTY BABY Decca 1957 LP.

"This CD collects instrumental tracks from the soundtrack albums of the teen-age musicals 'Rock, Pretty Baby' (1956) and 'Summer Love' (1958), composed and performed by Henry Mancini, who was then about to break out as the world famous composer of the music for the Peter Gunn television series. While both musicals are predominantly rock 'n' roll oriented, and Mancini contributed a number of mainstream rock 'n' roll songs (not included on this CD), the instrumentals lean more towards the West Coast cool jazz idiom which is the hallmark of the early Mancini. 'Theme for a crazy chick', 'Soft touch' and 'Free and easy' are especially noteworthy in this respect. A similarly interesting tune from 'Summer Love', 'Kool Breeze'*, was regrettably left out from this collection. Remarkably, Mancini never returned to this material throughout his rich recording career. On the original LPs (Decca DL 8429/8714), the performances are credited not to Mancini but to the movies' protagonist Jimmy Daley and the Ding-a-Lings." ~ CJW Zwart
