Classic toon designer Alex Toth provided the look of the show, and also drew the DC comic book. Like “Scooby-Doo,” there were bubblegum songs played during the show even though the characters weren’t in a band. Mike Curb and Michael Lloyd produced the album, which features an anonymous Davie Allan and the Arrows playing the soundtrack! The theme to “Sky Hawks,” another Curb endeavor that ran side by side with “Hot Wheels,” is included on this album.

ReplyDeleteI have had this for a number of years now as I love collecting music from cartoons that I grew up with. I just wish they would release this cartoon on DVD. That and The Hardy Boys cartoon from 1969.
