The 1950s saw a huge renaissance of Horror, Monster and Vampire movies, TV shows and comics in the United States, which coincided with the arrival of Rock & Roll.
This led to the appearance of a plethora of novelty discs, often on tiny, mysterious, local record labels, some of which crossed over to become hits.
The 'companion' to an earlier Jasmine compilation, 'Monsters, Vampires, Voodoos & Spooks' this is another fun-packed, 31-track celebration of such recordings, ranging from the downright obscure to minor chart items.

ReplyDeleteThanks Dusty! I love these Halloween comps. And both links worked great. I was apprehensive about the FF file for I normally avoid them (same category as rapidgator, turbohit, etc) but yours dl'd faster than mega. I probably got lucky with a direct server lol.
