The Dutch company BR MUSIC solved all the problems of fans of the English pop quintet in one fell swoop and released a chic box containing the group’s musical heritage from 1964 to 1986 in chronological order. This heritage fits in no more or less – on 100 tracks! Plus a 64-page booklet, with detailed tracks and replete with photographs of both the participants and their albums and singles. Of course, the history of the ensemble is presented. Very briefly, here it is: the group came together in 1961 and consisted of David “Dee” Harman (vocals), Trevor “Dozy” Davies (bass), John “Beaky” Dymond (guitar), Michael “Mick” Wilson (drums) and Ian “Tich” Amey (guitar). At that time, the band members were 17 years old. The quintet's real professional career took place in October 1964, when the musicians signed a contract with managers and composers Ken Howard and Alan Blaikley. The group recorded 7 numbered albums (not counting collections). A bright, melodic sound and a competent repertoire suggested success - DDDM&T entered the English hit parade 13 times, and in February 1968 they even took 1st place (12 weeks) with the song The Legend Of Xanadu
