In the ’70s, TV went full-on sexpot with Charlie’s Angels. In the ’60s, the “Hooterville Honeys” of Petticoat Junction were more subtle, attracting the boys, idolized by the girls. Linda Kaye Henning, Lori Saunders and Meredith MacRae were a darned good musical act, too, one who recorded some quintessential ’60s pop for Imperial; here’s the first collection of those singles (stereo debut) plus unissued tracks and the Petticoat theme song, which joins Goodbye Love; If You Could Only Be Me; Up, Up & Away; Rain, and more!
Track List:
1. If You Could Only Be Me
2. Wheeling, West Virginia
3. Goodbye Love
4. There’s Got To Be a Word
