VA - Oddities Volume One & Two (LP 2002) @ 192

This two-volume collection was discovered while rummaging through my old portable hard drives... I can't remember where I got them, and I can't say who or what the original source was. However, the first volume does contain a short review from the LP's digitizer.

No other information. There's also little about this collection online, and in my case, it's AI-generated.

So, everything I've collected is here...
I have this collectionunder titled "VA - Oddities (UK Psych Singles 1966-69) Vol. 1-2," but in the Discogs catalog it's listed as "Oddities Volume One & Two." This oddity is understandable, if only because not all the bands are British.
The collection itself also boasts a very eclectic artist roster. But it still sounds very cohesive and harmonious, for which I owe my thanks to the compilers. For me, this was a rare case where not a single composition fell outside the sense of this idea of integrity.

So... as is

VA - Oddities Volume One & Two
or
UK Psych Singles 1966-69 (if you want)

"Oddities Volume One" and "Oddities Volume Two" are a pair of rare, unofficial compilation albums released on vinyl in the UK in 2002.These releases are highly sought-after by record collectors. They focus heavily on rare 1960s British music, spanning Beat, Psychedelic Rock, and Pop Rock. Because they were pressed in limited numbers under "Not On Label" status (catalog codes ODDS-001 and ODDS-002), they are categorized as archival bootlegs. And This releases is blocked from sale on Discogs.

Various – Oddities Volume Two (2002)

"Various – Oddities Volume Two"  is a direct sequel to the first part of the British bootleg, released in the same year on vinyl. Like the first volume, this release is an unofficial music compilation aimed at collectors and lovers of rare garage, pop, and psychedelic rock from the late 1960s.
The record includes ultra-rare tracks, singles, B-sides, and hidden gems from little-known bands, as well as atypical works by popular acts of the era. Compilations in this series are prized in the vinyl digging community because many of the songs featured have never been officially reissued on CD or streaming platforms in good quality. ~ AI

The original records used for the LP was lent out to the compiler(s) by Marcus Wilson.
The Rolling Stones track on the bonus single was recorded at Regent Sound Studios on the 29th of September 1964, and a handful of one-sided Emidisc lacquers were cut. Klaus Wijnen allowed the use of the track for this release.
