Big Beat's Turned Into a Helium Balloon features a
diverse roster of '60s garage/psych groups like We the People, Front Page News,
and the Tikis. Demo versions of the Knickerbockers' "Lies" and
"My Feet Are Off the Ground," Free-for-All's "Show Me the Way,"
the Brogues' "Miracle Worker," and the Boston Tea Party's
"Spinach" are among the highlights of this entertaining, nostalgic
collection of obscure '60s pop.
