Big Jim Sullivan - Sitar Beat (1967)

From Beatman:
Big Jim Sullivan - Sitar Beat (1967)
Big Jim Sullivan - real name: James George Thompkins, born 1941, in Middlesex, England. Prolific session guitarist whose career started in 1959. In the 1960s and 1970s he was one of the most in-demand studio musicians in the UK, and performed on around 750 charting singles over his career, including 54 UK No. 1 hits. In the 1960s, Sullivan learned to play the sitar, having been inspired by attending a recording session for Indian classical musician Vilayat Khan. Sullivan released an album of Indian-style recordings under his own name - "Sitar Beat" (1967), and one as "Lord Sitar" (1968).

Everyone who knows the blog "Old Melodies" or earlier "Wings of Dream" for many years, knows that there are large archives of music here since 2007 ... 98% of the links up to 2015 are dead. I will gradually be engaged in their recovery. This takes a very long time, so the answers to requests will be minimal and in no way will be accepted from anonymous users. I spend a very long time on my uploads. Please, find a couple of seconds to sign your comment or message. I hope for understanding...
