The Invaders - On the Right Track (1967)

Formed
1965, Charlottesville, VA, United States
Disbanded
1968
The Invaders were a sextet from Charlottesville, VA consisting of Steve Drumheller (drums, vocals), Aivars Osvalds (organ), Bobby Pollock (saxophone, vocals), Steve Pollock (guitar, vocals), Gilbert Roberts (bass), and Harold Roberts (trumpet, drums, harmonica). They played the college and high school dance circuit around Virginia and North Carolina, specializing in rousing covers of then-current r&b standards ("Stubborn Kind of Fellow" etc.), essentially doing the kind of repertory that Bill Deal & the Rhondells, working from the same neck of the woods, took onto the charts.

    1. Sorry Jeff, but I didn't quite understand you . I ignore spam, comments with commercial ads and other nonsense...only.
Anonymous (unsigned) comments are published but remain unanswered. Asking for something and not introducing yourself is bad form and disrespect for the other party , is it ? You signed your comment, therefore what are the doubts,Jeff ?
