Ian Whitcomb - You Turn Me On The Very Best of Ian Whitcomb

Varese's You Turn Me On: The Very Best of Ian Whitcomb is a terrific 25-track single-disc collection that supplants Rhino's 1985 collection The Best of Ian Whitcomb. All of Whitcomb's hits -- "You Turn Me On," "N-E-R-V-O-U-S," "Where Did Robinson Crusoe Go With Friday on Saturday Night," "The Sporting Life" -- are featured, along with many singles, album cuts and a handful of unreleased tracks. It's true that Whitcomb's jaunty music-hall romps and silly humor can wear thin on some listeners, but there's no argument that this disc is the best CD collection yet assembled of his career.

  1. Many thanks for the Ian Whitcombe I was never aware he recorded so many tracks this is a great addition to my collection
