Annie Markan made her debut with the group Les Djinns (1959 to 1963). Subsequently she continued with The Gam's (1963 to 1965). Then she recorded four solo EP 45s before working as a press officer, at Barclay with Nobert Aleman, for the artists: Long Chris, Dave, Christian Delagrange, Jean-Pierre Ferland, Nino Ferrer, Aretha Franklin, Guy Marchand , Nicoletta, Otis Redding, Michel Sardou, Sonny & Cher, David-Alexandre Winter.
