I interviewed Joey mid 70's in Canada. Even though I knew quite a bit about him. Jimi Hendrix played guitar Starlighters became the rascals etc etc but what I learned was he went to school with the Shirelles, Ronettes were his dancers & his best friends were Gary U S Bonds & Johnny Maestro.
